The Australian Industry Group presents its first Annual Charity Business Breakfast;
where all proceeds will be donated back to the local community through Border Trust.
Border Trust is the Community Foundation for the region of Albury and Wodonga and
across the Indigo, Towong, Greater Hume, Corowa, Alpine and Tumbarumba Shires. It
offers a secure and direct way of improving the lives and opportunities of local people
by providing funds and organisational support to significant community projects.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Heather Ridout, Chief Executive, Australian Industry Group
Heather is a leading figure in the public policy debate in Australia.
She heads a national organisation committed to helping Australian
industry with a focus on building competitive industries through global
integration, skills development, productive and flexible workplace
relations, infrastructure development and innovation.
She is a member of a number of key national policy setting and consultative groups
including the National Workplace Relations Consultative Committee; Infrastructure
Australia; and Skills Australia. She was also a member of the Henry Tax Review.
Mrs Ridout has been three times acknowledged as one of Australia’s top “True Leaders”
by the Australian Financial Review’s Boss Magazine and has regularly appeared in the
newspaper’s “Power List”.
