Homelessness Action Plan (HAP)
The Riverina Murray NSW Homelessness Action Plan (HAP) is being administered on behalf of NSW Community Services by RDA Murray.
The program aims to provide:–
Early Intervention Brokerage 50 Brokerage packages have been made available to support tenancies of at risk groups, managed by partner agencies and this allows for access to brokerage funds that are otherwise unavailable through existing funding opportunities.
Social Housing Intensive Support Package Housing NSW has provided 30 social housing tenancies per annum for homeless people. 30 intensive support brokerage packages have also been made available with the aim of fostering sustainable tenancies and supporting people to break the cycle of homelessness.
The program will contribute to the reform agenda by better integrating the homelessness and mainstream service system.
The program is a three year pilot that forms part of the Regional Homelessness Plan.
