Sustainable Networking

18 July 2011

Each month the Chambers of Commerce from Albury Northside and Wodonga invite one local business to participate in their successful business networking events. Murray Now proud partners with Women in Chamber Albury Wodonga were selected as the business host for the month of July. Business After Hours (BAH) is aimed at providing business owners, managers and staff with the opportunity to have valuable business to business contact in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

With over 70 participants in attendance many dubbed the evening as ‘a wonderful success’. The Murray Now Eco Store is another business unit that is managed by Murray Now. Murray Now Eco Store is not only a not for profit store, but a place to educate and make the community aware of more eco friendly and sustainable practices.

The Murray Now Eco Store hosts, including Store Manager Emma Coulston, were very happy how successful the event unfolded, “I was extremely pleased with the evening, stated Emma. “ Our sales were fantastic, we signed up many members, who all used the 15% off storewide discount. I think people were surprised finding out that when you become a member it opens you up to 15% each and every time you enter the store, plus you receive information on when all the sales are happening throughout the year”.

The Murray Now Eco Store has a very important point of difference. That being; the majority of products stocked at the Murray Now Eco Store are unique to Albury Wodonga. Murray Now Eco Store is complimented by the online store, a terrific way to shop for those people out of town or for friends and relatives that just haven’t got a lot of time. You can also go online in the near future as our website is currently being upgraded to find all our Eco products. We also encourage you to join our Facebook community and invite your friends and family to join for all the latest products and information for your Eco lifestyle.

“Murray Now received fantastic feedback about the Eco Store on the night and the marketing and promotion of the store will only continue to grow as we plan many more events into the future” commented Scott Dunlop, Marketing Officer.

“Our sponsors for the evening Little India and Rutherglen Estates supplied the wine and food, which was just sensational,” added Scott.
