Joss Group is a privately owned home-grown multi-million dollar family success story. Formed by Colin and Lorraine Joss in Albury in 1975, the company has become a leader in construction management and building of commercial and industrial projects in the Murray.

Joss Group has since diversified into facility management and distribution, with more than 700 staff throughout regional New South Wales. The company’s expansion into distribution services is a smart move for the Joss Group. Perfectly placed on the Sydney to Melbourne corridor, its large warehousing facility offers clients cost effective distribution opportunities into south-east Australian markets. Last financial year, the three business divisions of Joss Group helped generate an annual turnover of around $150 million.

JOSS CONSTRUCTION The construction division of the business has gained a market leading reputation for providing high quality building development since 1975. A team of around 70 dedicated professionals handle all aspects of commercial and industrial building in a diversity of styles using a wide range of construction techniques. Their expertise extends from initial feasibility investigations, through to the design and building stages and beyond. Landmark buildings including hospitals, factories, office buildings and unit developments have all benefitted from the expertise of Joss Construction.

JOSS FACILITY MANAGEMENT Joss Facility Management is a leading provider of maintenance, asset management, cleaning and project management services throughout regional NSW and Victoria. With offices in Albury, Deniliquin,Griffith, Wagga Wagga, Queanbeyan,Wollongong, Batemans Bay and Bathurst, Joss Facility Management provides a range of services to the public and private sectors. Joss Facility Management employs more than 85 administration and management staff and 550 cleaners. An ability to match and enhance their clients’ management systems and requirements has enabled the company to grow in the past ten years.

JOSS DISTRIBUTION Joss Distribution is the latest addition to the Joss Group. It supplies specialist 3rd party warehousing and distribution that provides efficiency through size and economy due to its location. Their warehousing facility is 25,000 square metres under roof with a pallet capacity of 18,000 spaces. Their operations highlight the benefits of regional distribution. Conveniently located between major capital cities, Joss Distribution offers clients efficient “next day” delivery to Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle and regional NSW and Victorian markets. Lower operating costs compared to capital city warehousing enables Joss Distribution to pass on savings to their customers.

The company’s dedication to excellence in occupational health and safety, injury management and worker rehabilitation is also recognised nationally. Joss Facility Management was acknowledged ahead of 24 other entrants in the WorkCover NSW 2008 Safe Work Awards category for “Best Workplace Health and Safety Management System”.
