TAFE NSW Riverina Institute works closely with a broad range of industries to ensure training provided is aligned with current and future training needs to strengthen the Riverina-Murray region’s economic sustainability and to continue to build on our excellent employment outcomes for our graduates. Our 20 campuses work together to help more than 35,000 students enrolled with Riverina Institute each year achieve their career goals. Many of these are based within our region, but increasingly more interstate and international student numbers are also growing. In fact, 1 in 5 Riverina Institute students live outside of the Riverina.

INVESTMENT IN RESOURCES Riverina Institute draws on the considerable resources of TAFE NSW; the largest provider of public training in the southern hemisphere. Ongoing investment in technology, infrastructure and staff expertise enables the Institute to provide high quality, flexible training – supporting learning how, where and when best satisfy clients’ needs. Through videoconferencing, online courses and the use of portable media technologies, the Institute brings the option of training from the campus to the home or workplace and provides opportunities for more people and businesses to arrange study when, how and where it suits them.

DIVERSE AND SPECIALISED PROGRAMS Courses are available from entry level through to Advanced Diploma in faculty areas including Arts and Media, Community Services, Health and Welfare, Business, Information and Communication Technology, Transport, Engineering and Construction, Travel, Tourism and Hospitality, Wine and Food with strong coverage in 21 apprenticeship trade training areas. Riverina Institute is focused on building specialist capacity and in doing so has established specialty centres which work in partnership with industry to provide specific industry centric training.

These include: – Centre for Inland Engineering – National Aerospace Training Centre of Excellence – Riverina Wine and Food Technology Centre – Primary Industries Centre – Forest Industry Training Centre – National Environment Centre – Centre for Emergency Services Management Training

PATHWAYS TO UNIVERSITY Riverina Institute offers a wide range of diplomas and we are a market leader in delivering diploma/degree programs a number of universities providing our students with excellent options for further study.
