Upper Murray Regional Library
Upper Murray Regional Library (UMRL) covers 28,000 square kilometres, serves a total population of over 126,000 people and providees servces to seven councils in NSW and Victoria.
The library has three mobile libraries, one affectionately called “Suzi”, a re-fitted Isuzu truck that more resembles a hi-tech office or meeting room. Suzi boasts 7 laptops, internet access, fold down desks that can accommodate 12 to 15 people and most importantly, she’s on wheels, so she can travel anywhere.

UMRL provides services for people of all ages, diverse walks of life and from all socio-economic and educational backgrounds. We provide access to information for students who are studying, for those improving their language skills, for business people and farmers who wish to grow their businesses, children undertaking projects for school and online access and assistance to those who have limited mobility and are unable to come to the library due to time constraints.
All branches provide free internet access to library members and books can be reserved from any branch free of charge and sent to your nearest UMRL branch.
